Meet Techstart CEO

Jonathan "Jon" Putman

 

As CEO/Founder of Techstart, Inc., Jon has embraced his love of sharing his time and talent with both those who are less fortunate as well as those who are in positions to help the less fortunate. Born and raised in the United States, Jon exemplifies what it means to be a humanitarian. Upon graduating from high school (Kemper, Mississippi), he went on to fulfill an inner calling of serving his country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. With his duty complete, he enrolled and graduated as an honor student from the

DeVry Institute of Technology earning an A.A. in Electronics, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Management, and a Masters Degree in Project Management/Information Systems Management from Keller School of Management.

 

To date, Jon has received multiple awards from different companies such as InTouch Health, Carew International, and Rubbermaid Healthcare for his outstanding accomplishments in the fields of sales engineering, product specialist, and professional selling to name a few. He has spent over 15 years working with manufacturing and high-tech organizations in North America and Haiti and is always seeking to further the relationship between technology and medicine. Remaining consistent in his approach, he works diligently to bring technological advancement to third-world countries which enables him to travel abroad.

 

Currently, Jon is a Telemedicine Sales Engineer with Rubbermaid Healthcare. The company develops and sells Telemedicine systems to doctors and hospitals. As a Telemedicine Sales Engineer he is responsible for consulting with his clients on implementation of the systems. Jon is relatively new to the Charlotte, NC area but very involved in the community. He enjoys his volunteer work as President of Charlotte End of the Week Rotary Club (iPast). His group is involved in a number of community and international projects to improve the lives of others always putting "Service above Self".
